SUSAMP INFOTECH LLP ("Company", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of users of the GPS Map Camera: Geo Timestamp mobile application (the "App"), available on Google Play for Android and the Apple App Store for iOS and iPadOS.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, with whom it may be shared, and the choices and rights you have regarding your information. This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.

1. Scope of This Policy

1.1 This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the App on both Android and iOS/iPadOS platforms. It does not apply to:
  • Third-party apps, services, or websites that you may access through links or integrations in the App (such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, weather services, advertising networks, email clients, and messaging apps), each of which has its own privacy policy;
  • Information collected offline or through channels unrelated to the App;
  • Other apps published by SUSAMP INFOTECH LLP, which have their own privacy policies.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you use the App, you may voluntarily provide the following information, which is used to stamp your photos and videos on your device:

  • Custom logos or brand images you upload for stamping;
  • Notes, hashtags, captions, person names, and contact numbers you add as stamps;
  • Custom text or stickers you add to photos;
  • Email address when you contact support or configure email-sharing features;
  • Feedback, reviews, and communications you send to us.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, the following information may be collected automatically by the App or by third-party SDKs integrated into the App:

  • Precise location data — GPS latitude, longitude, altitude, accuracy, and address information derived from your device's location services. This data is used to display and stamp location information onto your photos and videos.
  • Camera and microphone input — photos, videos, and audio captured through the App. Captured media is processed locally on your device and saved to your device's photo library unless you share it.
  • Sensor data — compass direction, magnetic field, motion, altitude, and sound decibel (dB) level readings from your device's sensors.
  • Weather and environmental data — temperature, humidity, pressure, and wind speed, fetched from third-party weather providers based on your location.
  • Device information — device model, manufacturer, operating system version, screen resolution, system language, time zone, and mobile network information.
  • Advertising identifiers — the Android Advertising ID (AAID) on Android devices and the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS devices (only where you have granted permission under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework).
  • Usage and analytics data — app events, feature usage, session duration, crash reports, performance metrics, and error logs.
  • Approximate IP-based location — your IP address may be used to derive approximate geographic location for analytics and ad delivery.
2.3 Information Collected via In-App Purchases

When you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is processed by Google Play Billing (on Android) or Apple In-App Purchase (on iOS). We do not receive or store your payment card details. We may receive a purchase confirmation, product identifier, and transaction ID for the purpose of delivering the purchased feature and preventing fraud.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected for the following purposes:

  • To provide core App functionality — capturing photos/videos, generating map snapshots, stamping location and sensor data, fetching weather and address information, and saving captured media.
  • To operate and maintain the App — detecting and fixing bugs, monitoring performance, and ensuring stability.
  • To deliver advertising — free users are shown advertisements served by third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob). These ads may be personalized based on your Advertising Identifier and other data collected by ad networks.
  • To analyze usage — understand which features are used, measure user engagement, and improve the App.
  • To process purchases — verify in-app purchases, restore previous purchases, and prevent fraud.
  • To communicate with you — respond to your support inquiries, send service-related notices, and inform you of material changes to this Policy.
  • To comply with legal obligations — respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect our rights and the rights of others.

4. Location Information — Detailed Disclosure

The App is fundamentally a location-based service. By design, the App collects and uses precise location data (GPS coordinates) to stamp location information onto your photos and videos.

Without location permission, core features of the App will not work.

4.1 Location data is primarily processed on your device to generate the stamp and is embedded into the image or video you capture.
4.2 Location data may be transmitted to third-party services solely for the purpose of:
  • Reverse-geocoding coordinates into human-readable addresses (via map providers such as Google Maps or Apple Maps);
  • Fetching weather information for your current location (via weather data providers);
  • Rendering map snapshots for stamping onto images.
4.3 We do not sell your location data. We do not use background location tracking unless a specific feature you enable expressly requires it, in which case you will be informed at the time the feature is activated.
4.4 You can grant or revoke location permission at any time through your device settings. On Android, you may choose between "Precise" and "Approximate" location where supported; "Approximate" location may reduce stamp accuracy. On iOS, you may choose "While Using the App" or "Never" — choosing "Never" will prevent core features from working.

5. Camera, Microphone, and Storage Access

5.1 The App requires access to your camera to capture photos and videos, and to your microphone for sound decibel measurement and video recording.
5.2 The App requires access to your photos/media/storage (Android) or Photos library (iOS) to save stamped images and videos, and optionally to import existing images for stamping.
5.3 Captured media is stored on your device. We do not upload, copy, or retain your photos or videos on our servers. Sharing a stamped image (via email, messaging, or social media) is initiated by you and is subject to the receiving platform's own privacy policies.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share certain information in the following limited circumstances:

6.1 Third-Party Service Providers

We use trusted third parties to provide essential services for the App. These providers may receive specific data needed to perform their functions:

  • Google LLC — Google Play Services, Google Play Billing, Google AdMob (advertising), Google Maps/Geocoding, Firebase (analytics, crash reporting), and related services.
  • Apple Inc. — Apple App Store, In-App Purchase, Apple Maps, MapKit, and related iOS frameworks.
  • Weather data providers — to obtain temperature, humidity, pressure, and wind data.
  • Advertising networks — to serve ads in the free version of the App.
  • Analytics and crash reporting providers — to help us understand and improve App performance.
6.2 Legal Disclosures

We may disclose information if required to do so by law, legal process, subpoenas, court order, or governmental request, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to (a) comply with a legal obligation; (b) protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or others; or (c) investigate, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.

6.3 Business Transfers

If SUSAMP INFOTECH LLP is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to customary confidentiality arrangements.

7. Advertising and Tracking

7.1 The free version of the App displays advertisements served by third-party networks such as Google AdMob. These networks may use cookies, SDK-based identifiers, your Advertising Identifier (AAID or IDFA), IP address, and other information to:
  • Serve ads relevant to your interests;
  • Measure the effectiveness of ads;
  • Limit the number of times you see the same ad;
  • Detect and prevent fraudulent ad activity.
7.2 You have the following choices:
  • On Android — you can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalized advertising, through Google Settings > Ads on your device.
  • On iOS — under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, the App will ask your permission before tracking you across other apps and websites. You can change this choice at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
  • Remove Ads — you can purchase the "Remove Ads" or equivalent in-app purchase to stop advertisements from being shown within the App.
7.3 For more information on Google's advertising practices, see Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

8. Children's Privacy

8.1 The App is rated for general audiences but is not designed for or directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8.2 If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information to the App, please contact us at support@gpsmapcamera.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete the information.
8.3 Users between 13 and the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction should use the App only with parental or guardian consent.

9. Data Retention

9.1 Photos, videos, and stamped media are stored locally on your device. We do not retain copies on our servers. You control the retention and deletion of your media through your device's photo library and file management.
9.2 Analytics, crash reporting, and advertising data are retained by our service providers in accordance with their own retention policies, typically ranging from 14 months to several years in aggregated or de-identified form.
9.3 Support correspondence and purchase records are retained for the period necessary to provide support, comply with tax and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes (typically up to 7 years under Indian law).

10. Data Security

10.1 We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) for data transmitted between the App and our service providers.
10.2 However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. You acknowledge that you provide and store information through the App at your own risk, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10.3 You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, Google Account, and Apple ID, including through strong passwords, device locks, and up-to-date operating systems.

11. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to access — to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • Right to correction — to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Right to deletion / erasure — to request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements;
  • Right to restrict or object to processing — including the right to object to direct marketing and profiling;
  • Right to data portability — to receive a copy of your information in a structured, commonly used format;
  • Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on your consent;
  • Right to lodge a complaint — with your local data protection authority.

To exercise these rights, contact us at support@gpsmapcamera.com. We will respond within the time period required by applicable law. We may require reasonable verification of your identity before acting on a request.

12. Regional Privacy Disclosures

If you are located in the EEA or UK, the legal bases on which we process your personal data include: (a) performance of a contract (to provide the App); (b) your consent (for advertising personalization, location use, and optional features); (c) our legitimate interests (security, analytics, and improving the App); and (d) compliance with legal obligations. You may contact your local Data Protection Authority if you believe your rights have been violated.

12.3 California, USA (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" (we do not sell your personal information as defined under CCPA), and to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. 13.2 Where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms) to protect your information when it is transferred across borders.

14. Third-Party Links and Services

14.1 The App may contain links or integrations to third-party websites, apps, or services (including advertising, sharing, and map providers). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service before providing information to them.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

15.1 We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy indicates when it was last revised.
15.2 Material changes will be notified to you through the App, by email (if we have it), or through the Google Play and Apple App Store listings. Your continued use of the App after a revised Privacy Policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
